Superbuzz is designed to make your life easy by sending smart, AI-generated push notifications to your users. But if you’re looking for more customization, like crafting your own messages, promotions, and announcements or maybe approaching a smaller targeted group of your users you’ll definitely want to try out our Manual Push Campaign tool as well.
Manual campaigns give you full control over what you send, who receives it and when it goes out. Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Find the Manual Push Tool
On the home page of your dashboard click on your website. This will take you to your website’s home page where you can control your website’s push notifications’ settings.
On the left-hand side panel you will find the Manual Push tab.
Clicking on the dropdown menu, you’ll see two options:
- Push Campaigns – View and manage your existing manual campaigns, check their performance, and track results.
- New Campaign – Start building a new manual push notification campaign from scratch.

Step 2: Create a Target Audience (Segment)
Once you have users on your initial general campaign (Name - All) you can start creating segmented campaigns. a segment is a group of users with common ground that you would like to target and send a specific push notification campaign.
Note: you will not be able to create a segment before the SDK is properly integrated and we have some data to create the segment.
Here’s how you create a segment:
- Click into Push Campaigns
- Go to the Segments section
- Click New Segment
You’ll be able to create a segment name and then filter and define your audience based on one of the following filters:
- Country
- Language
- Browser type
- Last session (how recently they visited your site)
Note: It is important to choose a name that will best represent the audience you are targeting when you look at it on the dashboard in the future.
After choosing a segment, choose whether you want to include or not include the following targeting in the filter - choose “Is” or “Is not”. For example if you chose to segment by country you can choose a segment that is Italy or isn’t Italy meaning users from all countries but Italy.
The last step is to give your filter a specific value from the available list on the dropdown. The list is created based on the data gathered from your active users
This gives you precise control over who sees your push notifications.
